The EB-4 Permanent Residence Category has been established for specific
categories as listed below. As this is a "catch-all" category, each type of visa
is distinctly different from the other. For more information, click the Request

- Persons seeking reacquisition of citizenship and returning
resident.
- Religious workers.
- U.S. employee abroad or employee of American Institute of Taiwan
for 15 years.
- Foreign Medical Graduate if entered on H/J visa, licensed to
practice in a state as of Jan. 1, 1978, and continued to practice and
continuously present since date of entry.
- Commuters from border.
- Retired G-4 Officer.
- Returning resident.
- Court Dependents.
- Person who has served honorably for 12 years in the armed
services on active duty.
