Standing at 185 metres high Seattle's most famous building is a great place
from which to enjoy outstanding 360 degree views across the city and the
whole of Wahington State, including the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges,
Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. The Space Age tower can be reached in just 43
seconds by a futuristic glass lift. The tower is located at the Seattle
Center, a 30 hectare site built for the 1962 World Fair, which is also home
to the Pacific Science Center, offering laser and Lologram exhibits, the
Boeing IMAX Theater and the children's museum.
