Blue Hill is fairly easy to find look for gently domed eponymous Blue Hill
Mountain which lords over the northern end of Blue Hill Bay. Set Between the
mountain and the bay is the quiet and historic town of Blue Hill, which
clusters along the Bay shore and a burbling stream. The town never seems to
have much going on, which seems to be exactly what attracts summer visitors
time and again and may explain why two excellent independent bookstores are
located here. Many old money families still maintain retreats along the
water or in the rolling inland hills. but Blue Hill offers several excellent
choices for lodging if you're hot well endowed with local relatives. A good
destination for an escape, it especially appeals to those dft at crafting
their own entertainment. |
