Trails
Hiking trails are open.
Ski trails are closed due to lack of snow.
Mountain bike trails are closed until May 1, 2007.
Campgrounds
About 20 campsites with electrical hookups in Sandstone Campground are open. The
showers and dump station are closed for the season, but water is available at
the office. Please call our office for latest update. Water is available at the
office.
Reservations are recommended for camping in late spring through early fall. You
can reserve a campsite for these dates in 2006:
Campground From Through
Bluewater Group Campground April 1 October 31
Cliffwood and Sandstone campgrounds May 1 October 31
Bluewater Family Campground May 15 October 15
The accessible cabin in Cliffwood campground will open May 15, 2007.
Reservations will be accepted at the park if postmarked or hand delivered
January 10, 2007, or later.
Hunting
The park is open for hunting:.
* Gun deer hunting through December 10, 2006.
* Archery deer hunting through January 7, 2007.
Please stop at the office for hunting permits before hunting.
Hiking trail and hunting area maps are available at the office.
Visitor Center
The Mirror Lake Visitor Center is the place to go for park information, to
register for camping, and to buy a vehicle admission sticker. The Visitor Center
is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. If the office is closed, you may self-pay
outside the office for stickers and camping.
