Located in northeastern Oklahoma on the shore of Grand Lake, Cherokee State
Park offers three park areas: Riverside, Lakeside and Cherokee. Riverside Area
is located below Pensacola Dam and known for great fishing. Amenities include
picnic sites, a group shelter, campsites, comfort stations, lighted boat ramp,
and a 9-hole golf course. Lakeside Area has a swimming beach, picnic sites, a
group shelter, campsites, restroom with shower, playground and lighted boat
ramp. The Cherokee Area features a swimming beach, picnic sites, a group
shelter, campsites and restroom with showers. All water sports are allowed on
Grand Lake.
