Located in the scenic Bitterroot Mountains, this 293-acre park offers boating
and water sport opportunities on the reservoir. The remote pine-forest setting
is a great get-away for a weekend of camping, fishing and relaxation.
Painted Rocks State Park is located on Painted Rocks Reservoir. Painted Rocks
State Park is the only FWP managed site on Painted Rocks Reservoir. Painted
Rocks Reservoir is a tributary of the West Fork Bitterroot River.
