As the name implies, Medicine Rocks was a place of "big medicine" where Indian
hunting parties conjured up magical spirits. Weathering has given the soft
sandstone rock formations a Swiss-cheese look providing a unique landscape
filled with greater meaning and serenity. You’ll enjoy photography, hiking, and
wildlife viewing in this remote and primitive site.
