Just off Interstate 90 east of Missoula, this small park offers river frontage,
tipi rentals, a one-hour walking nature trail through a thick canopy of
cottonwoods, and developed campsites and picnic areas.
Beavertail Hill State Park is located on the Clark Fork River at river mile 245.
Drummond is the next access site up stream from Beavertail Hill. Schwartz Creek
is the next site down stream from Beavertail Hill. Beavertail Hill is one of 23
FWP managed sites on the Clark Fork River.

Beavertail Hill State Park is located 26 miles southeast of Missoula on I-90 to
Beavertail Hill exit #130, then .25 mile south on county road. (Lat 46.719, Lng
