UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Small
classes -- the average class size is
15 and the student-to-faculty ratio
is 11:1 -- make personal attention
the hallmark of a Lawrence
education. Opportunities for
off-campus study, internships,
student-designed tutorials, and
independent research supplement the
traditional academic curriculum. All
classes, including introductory
courses, are taught by faculty
members, 93 percent of whom hold the
Ph.D. or highest degree in their
field. In addition to offering a
broad academic program, Lawrence
continuously brings world-renowned
scholars, artists, and experts to
the campus to enrich the learning
environment.
Commited to the development of
intellect and talent, the
acquisition of knowledge and
understanding, and the cultivation
of judgement and values, Lawrence
University prepares students for
lives of service, achievement,
leadership, and personal fulfillment
