There are some advantages and disadvantages to taking
distance education courses. Distance Education can provide an
opportunity for you take a course independently working around
your own schedule at your own pace. However, it requires more
self-discipline and planning with possibly less instructional
support. It is important that you consider these factors
according to your own needs and abilities. It is a good idea to
consult with your advisor and the course instructor before
enrolling in any distance education course or program.
