CAMPUS SUMMARY |
| Vance-Granville Community
College is dedicated to helping individuals like you
achieve your educational goals for success in life.
Whether your goal is learning a skilled trade,
developing your technical skills and knowledge for a
particular job, owning your own business, or working
towards a four-year degree, VGCC has the programs to
help you achieve your goal. In keeping with our
commitment to make opportunity as widely available as
possible, the cost of attending VGCC is very modest.
Thanks to various resources and community contributions
to VGCC's Endowment Fund, financial assistance is
available to ensure that no one who is eligible will be
denied an education because he or she cannot pay.
Classes are offered at convenient times for working men
and women at our Main Campus and three satellite
campuses. The average size of our classes in our 35-plus
career and college transfer programs is small, so that
you can benefit from more individual attention. VGCC
welcomes all individuals of eligible age who can benefit
from our opportunities. Skilled counseling, advising and
support are important parts of our educational approach,
and we can help guide you in the direction that best
suits your skills and interests. Our doors are never
closed to anyone who wants to seek his or her
educational goals. VGCC is an equal opportunity,
affirmative action institution. We serve all students,
regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin,
or disability. Our main campus is located conveniently
off Interstate 85, midway between Henderson and Oxford
in the Northeast Piedmont of North Carolina. Our three
satellites are South Campus, between Butner and
Creedmoor; Franklin County Campus, in Louisburg; and
Warren County Campus, in Warrenton. With more than 3,200
curriculum students enrolled each semester,
Vance-Granville is committed to the economic growth and
development of the students in the counties it serves.
The curriculum and continuing education divisions of the
school together serve more than 16,000 individuals in a
year. Our continuing education programs are tailored to
provide assistance to local business and government in
promoting the economic and social well-being of the
community. We want to help you reach your educational
potential for success. Let us be your opportunity for
success! |
