| As a part of the North
Carolina Community College System, Durham Technical
Community College offers career and university transfer
programs to meet the educational needs of area
residents. Durham Tech's main campus is located only
minutes from downtown Durham, North Carolina's Research
Triangle Park, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
The college also offers instruction at centers in
northern Durham County and in Orange County. |

UNIQUE PROGRAMS |
| Durham Tech offers career
programs leading to over 55 degrees, certificates, and
diplomas and university transfer programs with one of
the best records in the state for preparing students to
succeed in the university setting. Health career
programs include Associate Degree in Nursing, Clinical
Trials Research Associate, Dental Laboratory Technology,
Occupational Therapy Assistant, Opticianry, Pharmacy
Technology, Phlebotomy, Practical Nursing, Respiratory
Care, and Surgical Technology. Public service programs
include Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Associate,
Environment, Health, and Safety Technology, Fire
Protection, Paralegal, and Teacher Associate. The
engineering/technology area includes Architectural
Technology, Automotive Systems, Electrical/Electronics,
Electronics Engineering, Industrial Systems Technology
and Machining. The college offers a number of programs
in the computer and information systems area, including
Programming, Network Support, and Computer Repair.
Business programs include Accounting, Business
Administration, Health Information, Office Systems, and
Medical Office Administration. |
