Campus Description:
The Jazz and Contemporary Music Program at The New School is
located in Greenwich Village in New York City. This fully
accredited program offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
Performance, Vocal, and Composition. The faculty is comprised of
working professionals and the school emphasizes a
musician-as-mentor style of learning. It is part of a larger
university wherein students take liberal arts classes and have
the opportunity to work in other disciplines. Students are
encouraged to contact the school for information on admission
requirements, auditions, or tours.

The Jazz Program offers a number of different venues where
students perform as well as weekly "jam sessions" at various
clubs in Manhattan.
