Campus Description:
Medaille College of Buffalo, NY, is a four-year, independent,
nonsectarian college with an enrollment of over 2,000. Chartered
in 1937, Medaille provides a quality education to students
throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario.
Medaille's master's, bachelor's and associate degree programs
are offered through day, evening, and weekend studies. Programs
include: biology, business administration, child and youth
services, computer information systems, creative writing,
criminal justice, elementary education (childhood, middle
childhood), English, financial services, health and human
services, human resources, liberal studies, literature,
media/communications, professional writing, psychology, social
sciences, sports management, veterinary technology, visual and
digital arts, and M.B.A., MSEd., and M.A. programs.
The College's internship program through area companies and
organizations provides hands-on experience and networking
opportunities for graduates.
Sports:
Varsity Sports: Women's: basketball, cross-country,
lacrosse, soccer, softball, volleyball. Men's: baseball,
basketball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball.
Intramural Sports: Women's: basketball. Men's:
basketball, flag football, indoor soccer. Coed: softball,
volleyball.
Clubs and Activities:
Activities and Services include the Student Volunteer Center,
New Media Institute, Television Production Facility, and the
Learning Services Center, as well as: African Student Union,
Career Clubs, Education Club, Evening Student Council, Human
Services Club, Intercollegiate Athletics, Literary magazine,
Newspaper, Pre-Law Society, Student Activity Board, Student
Government, Student Volunteer Club, WMCB-AM Radio Station,
Yearbook.
