Campus Description:
Manhattanville College, an independent, co-educational liberal
arts institution, is located on 100 beautiful acres in
Westchester County just 30 minutes from New York City.
Manhattanville's mission - to educate ethically and socially
responsible leaders for the global community - is evident
throughout the college, from academics to athletics to social
and extracurricular activities. With 1,600 undergraduates from
58 nations and 39 states, our diversity spans geographic,
cultural, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds, as
well as academic interests. We offer Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor
of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees in more then 50 areas
of study as well as a popular self-designed major. Over the past
few years, we have been rated among the "100 most wired,"
(Yahoo!), the "320 hottest" (Kaplan), in "Best 361" (Princeton
Review) and in the first tier by U.S News & World Report.

Special Programs:
Manhattanville College is one of only 12 colleges and
universities to be honored as a Non-Government Organization of
the United Nations. Select students have an opportunity to
intern at the UN and to study with an ambassador on
Manhattanville's faculty. Manhattanville also offers more than
two dozen study abroad opportunities at various levels of
language proficiency, including Argentina, Belgium (internship
at the European Union), Chile, Czech Republic, England, France,
Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, and Spain, among others,
as well as a semester in New York City or a semester at sea.
