Campus Description:
The Brentwood Campus is a regional campus of Long Island University, a multi-campus, highly-diverse, independent doctoral university with access to the life and resources of the world's greatest city. Offering a full range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, the University's highest priority is student-centered education, grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, enriched by research and experiential learning, and made available to promising students from all walks of life. The University is actively engaged in continuing education, community service, consulting and cultural outreach. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive universities in the country, with more than 28,000 students, 670 full-time faculty members, an annual operating budget of $328 million, NCAA Division I and II athletic teams and more than 157,000 living alumni.

The University's regional campuses and extension sites are distinguished by evening and weekend degree programs at convenient locations for working adults and mid-career professionals. Instruction is offered at the Rockland Graduate Campus (Orangeburg), Southampton Graduate Campus, Westchester Graduate Campus (Purchase) and Brentwood Campus on Long Island, as well as at some of America's largest corporations and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
