Campus Description:
Le Moyne is a diverse learning community that strives for
academic excellence in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition through
its comprehensive programs rooted in the liberal arts and
sciences. Its emphasis is on education of the whole person and
on the search for meaning and value as integral parts of the
intellectual life. Le Moyne College seeks to prepare its members
for leadership and service in their personal and professional
lives to promote a more just society. Le Moyne is located on a
suburban campus, in Syracuse, NY. All students’ academic
curriculum is enhanced by a diverse core curriculum of liberal
arts courses. Students are guaranteed on-campus housing in a
variety of different housing styles. Le Moyne students and
graduates have had outstanding success in applying their
academic preparation with internships, research opportunities,
graduate/professional school placement and job placement. Women
play in NCAA Division I lacrosse and Division II in all other
sports, and men participate in Division I baseball and Division
II in all other sports.

Clubs and Activities:
Over 70 student organizations including: Amnesty International,
Chapel Choir, The Dolphin (Newspaper), Drama Group, Habitat for
Humanity, Le Moyne College Singers, Le Moyne Student Dance
Program, Le Moyne Student Programming Board (LSPB), Outing Club,
Pep Band, Political Clubs, Pride in Our Work Ethnicity and Race
(POWER), Project In Community (PIC), The Salamander (Literary
Magazine), WLMU Radio.
