Campus Description:
Situated in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant, the Brooklyn Campus
provides convenient access to diverse communities in Brooklyn,
as well as for parts of Queens and Long Island. Designated an
Extension in 1980, a Center in 1983, and a Campus in 1985, the
Brooklyn Campus is located at Restoration Plaza in
Bedford-Stuyvesant, a hub of community activities with the
Center for Art and Culture, Art Gallery, Dance Theater and the
Billie Holiday Theater. Students are provided with an excellent
educational experience and learning environment emphasizing
user-friendly integrated technologies, including
computer-assisted classrooms and labs, interactive
teleconference and distance learning capabilities, a
multi-purpose conference center and a branch of the college's
Gill Library, and wellness education classroom.
