Special Programs:
INTERNSHIPS AND CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION - Students at Clarkson
benefit from a wide variety of co-op and internship
opportunities that provide hands-on, real-world experiences to
undergraduates. PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY - Students who meet
requirements in completing Clarkson's Pre-Physical Therapy
undergraduates concentration can be accepted directly into the
University's accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program. ROTC
- Clarkson offers both U.S. Army and Air Force Reserve Officer
Training Corps programs that include scholarship opportunities.
SPEED - Students can join one of 14 project-based academic teams
that compete against other schools in challenges that range from
robotics to environmental management through an award-winning
program called Student Projects for Engineering Experience and
Design (SPEED). STUDY ABROAD - Clarkson's growing Study Abroad
program provides opportunities for undergraduates to spend a
semester or a year abroad in one of 12 countries where Clarkson
has exchange agreements with 20 universities. THE CLARKSON
SCHOOL - This special division provides an opportunity for
talented secondary school juniors to begin university study a
year early. Students attend classes with freshmen, have access
to everything the University offers, and upon completion of the
one-year program are admitted with advanced standing to Clarkson
and other outstanding universities.
