Ozark National Scenic Riverways
America's first scenic riverways created by Congress in 1964, preserve 134 miles of the Current and Jacks Fork rivers. Some of Missouri's most scenic springs feed these rivers, including Big Spring, one of the nation's largest. Mark Twain National Forest
Lies mainly South of I-44 with one district located in Central Missouri. Throughout the Mark Twain there are hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, including 145 miles of trails for trail bikers and ATV users.
