Private Colleges and Universities in Minnesota

Minnesota has about 30 four-year private colleges and
universities. Most are liberal arts colleges, emphasizing broad
knowledge in arts, sciences, social sciences and humanities.
Enrollments range from several hundred to more than 10,000.
Taken together, Minnesota's private colleges and universities
enroll more than 60,000 undergraduate and graduate students each
fall.
The Lowdown: Known for four-year liberal arts education
emphasizing a wide variety of general knowledge in the arts,
sciences and humanities. Graduate, undergraduate and
professional programs.
Getting In: Selective. Admissions requirements vary by school,
but the recommended courseswill allow you to apply to any of
them.
