Merrimack College
Founded in 1947, Merrimack College is a
four-year, independent, Catholic college grounded in the liberal
arts and guided by the teachings of St. Augustine. Home to the
Girard School of Business and International Commerce, the
college is one of the few liberal arts Catholic colleges that
offer programs both in science and engineering. Merrimack’s
contemporary academic approach of fusing liberal arts with
professional education means students become engaged and ready
to make critical, moral and informed decisions of thought,
communication and action in their own lives and in service to
others.
Located on a suburban setting just 25 miles
north of Boston, Merrimack offers a strong co-operative
education program for all majors, undergraduate research
opportunities and extensive service learning experiences that
promote social responsibility. Merrimack’s 2,150 students
represent 29 states and 17 countries; nearly 80% live on campus.
