Shades State Park
Shades State Park is that peaceful place you 've been looking
for. Located about 17 miles southwest of Crawfordsville (off
State Route 47), it is a favorite for campers, hikers and
canoeists. The beautiful sandstone cliffs overlooking Sugar
Creek and numerous shady ravines provide the backdrop for your

Monroe Lake
Senic bluffs, rolling topography and lushly wooded areas greet
camping and hiking enthusiasts, located in south central
Indiana. This area is surrounded by a variety of national forest

Patoka Lake
Rolling topography, scenic rock outcroppings and an area rich in
local history provide a splendid backdrop for for campers and
hikers at Patoka Lake in souther Indiana. The Hoosier National
Forest is adjacent to the lake, and if you head east of the
property you will find a number of caves waiting to be explored.

Fort Harrison State Park
Truly one of Indiana's natural treasures, this state park is
carved out of 1,700 acres of the former Fort Benjamin Harrison
on Indianapolis' east side. It includes one of the largest
unbroken tracts of hardwood in central Indiana, several lakes,
more than 6 miles of hiking trails with a hard surface multi-use
