Dover Delaware
|
Dover is located at 72 km south of Wilmington. West of
the city in the Rose Valley area is a small but very
active Amish farming community. Old Dover Days, a
historical celebration, is held in the city in May.
Dover grew up around the Green, the parklike center of
town. The Green makes a good place to start touring the
city, because it's surrounded by many beautiful homes
and excellent historical displays. Make your first stop
at the Delaware State House.
