It's Seaport is a re-created seaside village with vintage ships
and houses and shops from the 1800s. A steamboat departs from
the village for cruises on the river May-mid October. Another
popular attraction for families is the Mystic Aquarium, which
contains more than 3,500 specimens. Visit the Old Lighthouse
Museum, an 1823 lighthouse that houses nautical artifacts and
has a commanding view of three states from the top of the
circular staircase. Dont miss to watch the boats going out into
Long Island Sound and to swim at the small public beach.
