Hartford Connecticut

Hartford is located at 65km northeast of New
Haven. Connecticut's capital city, Hartford is located in the
north-central part of the state and was originally a Dutch
trading post before Rev. Thomas Hooker established an English
settlement there in the 1630s. Although mainly known as an
industrial, financial and insurance center, it does have some
places of interest for visitors. South of Hartford, near Rocky
Hill, is Dinosaur State Park, which has hundreds of dinosaur
prints and tracks. Bristol is located at 32km southwest of
Hartford is the site of the American Clock and Watch Museum .In
nearby New Britain is the New Britain Museum of American Art, a
small but impressive collection of American art from the 18th
through the 20th centuries.
