Breckenridge is located at 100km southwest of
Denver. Breckenridge was brought back to life by the ski
business, which provided the motivation for renovating the
town's vintage Victorian buildings. Breckenridge was the first
major resort to offer snowboarding (in 1985). Nowadays, boarders
will find two terrain parks. The Breckenridge Golf Club has a
course designed by Jack Nicklaus, and the Breckenridge Ski
Resort offers the Peak 8 Fun Park, which includes a human-sized
wooden maze and the Superslide downhill-sled course.
