Licensing Rules in Arizona

With very few exceptions, a contractor needs a license to bid on any job over $750 in Arizona. Arizona issues separate licenses for commercial and residential work for each particular trade or construction field. Licenses are good for two years.

To apply for either license, contact http://www.azroc.gov/.

Contractors must pass an exam before applying for a license, which can be found at http://www.experioronline.com/.
