Birmingham Zoo
On 100 acres of wooded parkland, the zoo is home to over 800
animals, many of them rare, exotic and endangered. The zoo
features such animals as cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes,
cobras, rhinos, wart hogs and many others. a fun and educational

Dauphin Island Sea Lab Education Center
The center contains a variety of aquariums and dry exhibits
relating to the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta, Mobile Bay, Barrier

Water World
Water World offers water recreation for people of all ages. The
site includes a giant wave pool, a triple-flume water slide, a
magical kiddie pool, concessions, gift shop, video arcade and

Alabama Princess Riverboat
an authentic replica of a nineteenth century sternwheeler, the
alabama Princess offers leisurely luncheon and dinner cruises
along the scenic and historic Coosa River. Sightseeing cruises

U.S. Space and Rocket Center
The world's largest space attraction includes full-size rockets
in Rocket Park, the Pathfinder (a life-size mock-up of the Space
Shuttle), bus tours of NaSa, OMNIMaX movies, a moon rock, and
hands-on exhibits for all ages. Experience the g-forces of
blast-off and the weightlessness of space on the Space Shot;
take a flight to Jupiter on Journey to Jupiter; learn about life
